Local community swimming pool located in the Borough of West Middlesex, PA. Amenities at this facility include guarded swimming pool with two (2) tube waterslides, snack bar, male and female bathhouse/restroom facilities. The facility is open to the public from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM Monday through Saturday with evening extended swim hours from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Tuesdays and Thursdays, as well as 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM on Sundays. The pool is also available for rental by private parties. The length of the season is determined by the West Middlesex Area School District’s summer break—opening the first day of summer break and closing prior to school resuming in the fall.

48-acre recreational facility located in Shenango Township, PA. The facility provides three (3) regulation sized softball fields including one with lights for evening games. Other amenities include male/female restrooms and a concession stand/vending area. Currently three (3) leagues utilize the facility from May through September. The fields are also available for rental for single games or tournament play. Plans are underway to install two (2) youth-sized soccer fields, and a walking/jogging nature trail.

With the technological breakthroughs being applied to Law Enforcement, the cPin (digital photo imaging) system allows for quicker input and facial reckognition possibilities throughout the Commonwealths records. Furthermore the LiveScan (digital fingerprinting) compares prints taken to the Commonwealths records and a criminal history can be obtained within minutes rather than weeks the old way. With both machines being used simultaniously, it also enables law enforecement to be able to assist other counties and communities with outstanding warrants, and overall cut down the time it takes to process a prisoner which translates to more street time for the officer.
